Pop vs. Rock

So, which is better in your opinion? Pop or Rock?

hmm..tough one, i probably do listen to more rock than pop. like: led zeppelin, nirvana, acdc, nickleback, linkin park, collective soul etc but there are a lot of good pop artists and songs out there like MJ, katy perry, lady gaga and others. i picked both tho

I picked rock as a definate. More spirit, more history, more meaning, it's like a religion to me really. Pop though is just something of a stir, new and poppy and nice and happy, it's just not showing that true emotion that they show in good rock music. Katy Perry for instance, I hate how pop artists always wanna chart something and with the old rock bands, they never do and they just want to produce a record and when she released, "I Kissed A Girl", it all became something for the media and I just don't like that.

Rock! Its passionate..And the sound of gutairs and drums are so lovely

Rock of course. I don't really like pop music.
