Colorguard

I'm a part of my highschool colorguard team. There are many people that don't think it's a sport, but I'd like to inform everyone that it most certainly is a sport. Haha.

my high school had colorguards, one of my friends was in it too....eh...i dont know if its a sport but it def. requires coordination and good nerves

Most people don't think it's a sport, but just from practice we have to do over 200 sit ups, over 50 pushups, and all sorts of other workouts. You try spinning a 6 foot long pole with a 58'' long flag on it all while dancing, keeping in time with the music, keeping your head up, keeping your face presentable, keeping your back straight, your arms in perfect angles at a proper distance from your body. Not to mention the occasional toss. I won't even go into the steps for that..

geeeez i wasnt trying to be mean. but daaaamn, 200 situps and 50pushups? see our hs never did that so thats where i was coming from. u guys gotta be really good then!

Yeah, considering that's just our warm up, Then we have to strech for an hour or two. And I'm sorry, it's just a softspot for me. The more minds I can change, the better. And yeah, we're pretty good. We'd be better if our marching band didn't hate us.

well my mind is def. changed after reading that lol. i only said what i said cuz the hs i went to was...well not exactly good lol

Some groups aren't, just like any sport. Some teams are good, some aren't.

sounds like u guys are really good then! my old hs sucked pretty bad, my friend used to tell me she had practice like a few times a week or whenever they felt like it lol so thats pretty bad.
